Patients ask me sometimes what I take and do on a day to day basis in order to stay healthy. I believe that we need to live in a way, at least to some degree, that promotes better health in our body and lives. I am talking about physical health here but there are many types of health like emotional and financial. As far as what I take daily, all I take is 2000 IU of vitamin D3 + K2 and one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. A vast majority of us are low in vitamin D as well as K2 and if we are then our immune system is almost surely weaker than it should be. The K2 supplement assures that any calcium that is in our diet (or supplemented) is deposited in the bones (instead of the arteries). Vitamin D deficiency has been shown to lead to acute as well as chronic illnesses. If our immune system is weak we cannot fight off disease. It is as simple as that.
